In READING this week, we have been learning how to make connections between ourselves and the books that we read.
During WRITING his week, we have been looking at different persuasive texts and how they are organised. We have also began writing some of our own persuasive arguments.
Our first topic for MATHS this year is Place Value. We have been looking at different number and practicing how to read them.
This week we kicked off our INQUIRY topic. We have been looking at the different levels of government and the areas they are responsible for.
Our focus in SPELLING is:
- Grade 3: The digraph /er/ making the sound 'er' as in fern.
- Grade 4: The quadgraph /augh/ making the sound "or" as in daughter AND The Digraph /au/ making the sound "or" as in sauce
The PITW key concept we have been focusing on this week is treating others the way we would like to be treated.

- Wear suitable attire on Fridays for Triskills (shorts under dresses for girls)
